I just changed it back to -1 and it displayed 24. Currently set back at 45.

I changed it from -1 to 45. Big improvement! BUT there are 28 published and only 25 are showing.
Is there anything I could look at to rectify this?

I have to ask the questions –
How is access to make comments through this code possible when comments aren’t enabled?
Is it common? Why doesn’t it happen to all targeted comments disabled wordpress sites?
Is it template specific?
Can it be prevented?

The theme doesn’t have a image.php template file.

– Just found it was the old absolute address for upload path in the options table
