I′m having a similar proble.
I am not able to translate this sentence on Checkout page and email: “Make your payment directly into our bank account. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order won’t be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.”
It is translated in *.po file, but nothing has changed on the page.
