Such an awesome observation! Saved my day! Thank you so much!
Thanks to you, now i have understood what the problem is.
I tried pasting posts from such websites that also have “You may also like..” below their posts and found that facebook didn’t pick it up and just displayed the featured image.
Finally i incur that Facebook does pick it up but also it is under our control that we can see to it that it doesn’t since various other websites have managed to do so!
Will it work if i remove the related posts options below the post?
Looked around settings in Facebook, found none related to the posts. I will try and give an update to you after i remove the related posts option and try pasting with a new post.
Also if you notice, in case 1, all the different related posts thumbnails are appearing but the original Feature image thumbnail. Why could it be so?
    Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for replying on the post and sharing your experience!
I too had the same perception that it must be a extraction default from facebook. Just to be sure about it, i went ahead and tried to share around 15-20 posts from various other websites links for which i directly copied from their respective website. There was not a single issue with all of those! That’s what made me doubt if there is any problem with my Thumbnail settings or my permalink settings. How are you tackling it?

Im linking in both the scenarios mentioned in my problem. Paste these links onto the Facebook Status box and you’ll see the issue with the Feature image thumbnails.

    1) https://criticalperks.com/airlift-movie-review/
This is the case when you share this post, various other feature images occur.

    2) https://criticalperks.com/chinese-based-smartphone-to-cost-more-than-iphone/
This is the case wherein both the post and feature image are correct.

Kindly tell me a way out because my base for publication is Facebook and Feature Image is an important aspect to attract visitors.
    Please help!
