almost there but not quite satisfied with my solution.
What did I do:
changed some code in classes/em_event.php
This is the code:

case '#_EVENTICALLINK':
	$replace = $this->get_ical_url();
	if( $result == '#_EVENTICALLINK' ){
		$replace = '<a href="'.esc_url($replace).'"><img src="https://www.cabrioxperience.nl/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/ical.png"></a>';
}

The result is a link from the given image, just what I intended.
BUT: in case of an update this change will be lost. Tried to put this code in the theme directory ….plugins//event_manager/classes
but that does not work.
Any suggestions?

Before anyone tries to give an answer: I think I’ve found the answer already.
There is a code part in /classes/em_event.php where the format of the link is given. I will try to make changes in a copy in the theme subdirectory for EM.

Just installed 5.3.6.4 and now it functions just fine.
I was already enthousiastic about EM, but still getting more and more, keep on the good works.

A subscriber can be given the right to manage_other_bookings. In that case he gets the same data as the administrator and is able to make changes.
What I would like to have is the same data BUT not modifiable, so just the overview, is this possible?

Yes, found out the same a few minutes ago, setting to zero solves it.

Well, I made a backup, updated Slimstat to 2.9.3 and seached for entries in the database containing wp-slimstat.
Found one in wp-options, deleted that one (no entries found in wp-usermeta).
And finally, it started to work! Thanks for the hint.

Same here. No stats, no config, nothing. 2.9.2 works fine, so I switched back to that version.
I am using the latest WP, 3.5.1.
