In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Title TagsThanks for responding. There’s some suggestions in that blog post that go against w3c guidance on the matter. They’re now pretty clear that you can have 0 title tags and that you shouldn’t include them if they contain redundant information. But no big deal, I certainly don’t want to argue over such a minor thing. Anyhow, thanks again for responding, always nice to see from a plugin author. Keep up the good work at StudioPress…love your stuff.

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Decent but not exceptionalHi Tom,
I think the biggest example I’d give in terms of clunkiness (maybe not the best word choice on my part) is for someone to install the theme on an existing site and think they can make their site quickly look like one from the site library. If it was a new install, yea you can import one of them easily, but not so for an existing site. Why not have a way to import those theme creations onto existing sites or at the very least have a way to import pieces of sites (headers, footers, etc)? Beginners are looking for plug and play not a vanilla theme with no easy roadmap to making it look good. At the very least have a beginners documentation that walks people through how to create the various setups in the library. I spent 20+ years in the IT industry and your documentation is great for techs…not so much for non techs.
Again, totally not saying it’s a bad theme (because it isn’t), just think there’s some areas that could be more beginner friendly. Anyhow, hope my review helps some people and maybe gives you guys something to consider in regards to improvement.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Downgrade Version@shortpixel The dev version worked without any issues. However, the 3.3.3 version that got pushed out is producing the same errors.
I’ll send you a message through the link you provided as well.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Steps to Downgrade to 3.3.0@shortpixel Tried downgrading to 3.3.1 but it resulted in “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
Any ETA on when a fix might be forthcoming? Got a couple hundred images to replace so need to know if I should plan on doing it the long way.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Turn off Article Schmea@vaka2vaka Thank you very much!
Yoast Developers (if any happen along) – It would sure be nice if you would give us a way to turn off schema elements from within the interface. I’m comfortable with code, but an interface solution would be far superior. Especially since I’m sure I’m not the only one who didn’t even realize this additional schema “feature” was added in.
