Hi, and a poke on this subject.

I am using Avada and Easy Testimonials also. I have an intermittent problem where sometimes the testimonials show up and sometimes they don’t. This seems to be unique to the slider.

The Avada testimonial option is dismal, so I am hoping I can make this one work.

Where it is intermittent, I am wondering if it is a cashing issue…? I am hosted at GoDaddy, I have CloudFlare and currently Wordfence falcon engine is enabled. Though, the problem happens when the falcon engine is disabled as well.

Kinda surprised this wasn’t addressed on the last Jetpack update. My site tends to run slow, so I don’t like to keep adding plugins (I have too many already), but I can’t be there every day to post content on FB and Twitter. So, thanks soflaweb and fackass, I’m going to try your suggestions.

I’m glad to know that I am not the only one with this problem. I have mine configured to send to Facebook and Twitter. When I tested manual posts there were no problems. I had a scheduled post work once, but fail the rest of the time.

To answer an earlier questions, the subscription email seems to work just fine.

Hi Tim,

The exam is an ongoing thing until I am done studying (licensing exam). I had posted a copy of the (very short) RSS produced by the dev software and asked if it would be easier for you to poke around the account. I sent a link to the contact section of my web site ( /contact ) if that made more sense.

Since I don’t know which of those got my post deleted twice, I will wait for your response.

The dev version did not attach the individual blogs. It looked like all RSS data stopped at the end of the iTunes data. At least that info looked a bit more tidy. ??

I backed up the DB and needed to restore it (I’m learning) to make everything hunky-dory.

Another bug(?) I noticed is on the main default feed setting page (/admin.php?page=podpress/podpress_feed.php) the images are not linked properly.

Thanks, I will do this asap, but it may be a couple of days (3 small kids and I am studying for an exam). I’ll backup the DB, but if I have problems I’ll need your help in getting it back up.

I tried putting in a blog title, but it still showed up in my header.

Oh, also I reinstalled podpress yesterday just to be sure there wasn’t a corrupt file.

Usually the title of a category feed has this scheme: blog title >> category name.
I guess that the category name is the same as the blog title. However you can set a custom title for the category feed in the Category Casting options.

The blog title is, and has been blank in my settings, and I have been using the custom category title setting

The part of the feed is correct. I do not know why Google Listen does not show the RSS image.

I have reset the cache on booth google listen AND iTunes and this image does not show up at all. On iTunes I assume it should be the small associated artwork image??

I just made the CSS code change you recommended. Thanks.

Oh, I guess one other thing is that the 144X144 image is still not showing up on Google Listen, so I figure it is not being positioned correctly in the RSS…???
