In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Authorized redirect URIWhen adding the URI there were no errors. All looked good, but returning to the screen where you enter the URI the field was empty. I did this several times with the same results. Only after entering /domain-name/oauth2callback did it accept the URI. In other words, /domain-name/oauth2callback saved! And of course, this didn’t work with Updraft Plus because it does not match the correct URI. Then I added the correct URI (and NOT deleting /domain-name/oauth2callback), it accepted the correct URI. Thus, there are two URIs entered for that field. And now it works.
I entered the /oauth2callback because Google gave it as an example.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Authorized redirect URIOk, I must have missed something. The supplied Authorized redirect URI from Updraft Plus would not save in Google. However, I added https://domain-name/oauth2callback, then saved, it took; then added the Authorized redirect URI and saved, and took. So there are two URIs. Now the plugin works.

On other web sites I did not have to include the /oauth2callback link.
“Embed Any Document” seems to be the culprit; deactivating it Hummingbird works.
Although Hummingbird made some improvement, it is limited with the Jolene theme in that activating the Minification causes the theme to break.
Running tests with Google Page Insights, it turns out the killer to my site for slow speed is the “Embed Any Document” plugin. It drags the Google test into the red.
So, I have a couple of issues to resolve before revisiting Hummingbird. Find an alternate for embedding docs (PDF mostly) or abandon the idea of doing so, and perhaps a different theme.
I tried Hummingbird on another of my sites and it works GREAT!
Thank you for your help here, and providing Hummingbird. With that, I will mark this as resolved.

There are about 282 lines in the browser console log. I think most are warnings. Is there something in particular I should look for?
I tried posting the browser console content and it did not post to the support forum.

In reply to: [Nirvana] unexpected ‘[‘Found fix at CryoutCreation’s website’s Bugs forum by Raymond.
————–
What I did was made this modification on line 211 of sanitize.php:if ( !isset($input[$key][$subkey]) ) $input[$key] = array( $subkey => ” );
(I removed the [ ] around $subkey in array() )
But I would expect a fix real soon from Cryout, this is quite severe.
————–It worked!
Thank you Raymond.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Dismiss Error MessagesI guess the big question is the “reply to” feature in using “From” field. Placing your own email address in the “From” field does not offer a convenient reply to in the email received.
So I gather from the link you provided I can add “Reply-To: [your-email]” in the “Additional” field, and when “replying to” via an email client the correct address will be inserted into the client’s reply field. And that does does work, so perhaps to mitigate confusion the default should have “Reply-To: [your-email]” in the “Additional” field and removed form the “From” field.
Then have a default for the “From” field something like “Enter your own name” <Enter an email address from this site’s domain>.
Now for the “Subject” field. I did the following: “[your-subject] / TWN” (without the quotes), and it passed the validation. And it added the ” / TWN” to the header area but not the message area, which is fine. Of course, the addition does not have to be what I added.
I would like to thank you Takayuki for your quick response.
Here is a copy of the previous version
I just FTP’d it and overwrite and that worked for me – took it back to the previous version.

In reply to: [iFeature] ifeature template customize home pageRegarding the widget areas (sidebar and footer): I had the same issue; I found a workaround by placing a widget in the widget areas and the “Pages,Archives,Categories,wordpress,subscribe” stuff disappeared. Now for the footer area I did not want anything there, so I placed a text widget in the footer – but I did not enter a title for the text widget and left the text widget box empty. This made the other default stuff disappear and nothing is now being displayed in the footer because the text box widget has nothing in it.
In the theme’s settings page under “Blog” is where you can edit the “boxes”, “slider”, etc. Remove the images and added your own, enter a link, and then enter the text you want to show in that box. The free version of the theme only has three boxes.

In reply to: [WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Domain Vs. Sub-DomainError log in cPanel is empty.
Edit: Just checked site again and it is working. However, I did nothing to the site since my first post. Occasionally my hosting service reboots their servers, would this have caused the mapping to start working?

In reply to: Theme 2011 Broken with 4.2 UpdateUpdate:
Re-downloaded the 2011 theme again, installed manually again, it is now working.
Is it possible the distribution files for twentyeleven were corrupt on the WordPress server?
Marking this thread as resolved.

In reply to: Theme 2011 Broken with 4.2 UpdateYes, I deactivated all plugins no help. I host with Hostgator and 15 other WordPress sites I host there are working fine, but they do not use the 2011 theme.
