I am, but I think I’ve gained a better understanding of what’s causing this:

WPML adds a separate many-to-many table (‘{{wp-prefix}}_icl_translations‘) which tracks the translation for every post. Any posts that are NOT included in this table are hidden from view in the admin dashboard.

So basically, when a post is converted to a page AND WPML is installed, it would also have to change the element_type in this database…

If anyone else runs into this problem; you want to finish up any conversions BEFORE activating WPML. If you have already activated WPML, you’ll have to disable it by going to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting (the link is at the bottom of the support page). There, click on “Reset all language data and deactivate WPML”.

That’s weird… I changed it back to 0 and it’s still not showing up. What the hell is going on here :/

Edit: ok..? Apparently, WPML is the culprit here. Desperately trying to figure out what’s going wrong here…

Yani, thanks so much for your ongoing support of this plugin. Looking forward to the 1.9-release. Not sure what I’ll do in the meantime. I could work around this part of my current project and leave implementation of this plugin for a week – or have a go at hacking it myself.

Is there any way we can help? Is there a git repo we can fork?

This worked for me too, at the time. Took a while for the change in settings to take effect, so wait a while (30 minutes, tops) before making the call.

Turns out that this was indeed a server-side problem. I ended up working around the problem by switching to gmail’s smtp-servers, using this plugin:

Using the “Configure SMTP”-plugin, which was particularly gmail-friendly.

Thanks for your reply. I just tried it without any other plugins on the default theme (Twenty Eleven), but unfortunately with no avail…

Weird thing is, if you close the tab while the ajax-request is still pending, it still sends the email without problems. I just can’t figure out what the hell it’s waiting for…!? :/

I’m not much of a server-side-guy though, so any feedback anyone can think of would be very much appreciated.

Same here. I’ve already changed the “Language”-setting in the plugin’s “Basic”-tab, but I don’t see it using another language in the client- OR admin-side. I noticed the lack of custom locales in the plugin’s folder – could that be the problem?

Damnit, where do I delete this message. Turns out, this was a typical RTFM-question. I was unaware that it hooks into the existing Posts. I thought it would make its own. My bad ??
