Always a wise strategy to check other plugins.
The Under Construction Plugin caused the problem.
It was activated and set to off ofcourse but it needed to be fully deactivated really.

Please someone out there.
I’d really like to add authors but cannot get it right.

Ok, i will start to check if any of the Login plugins you suggested makes a difference. Although i mostly try to keep the install as clean as possible to avoid too much plugins that could cause inteference in one way or the other. Thx for ur help so far.
I hope some of the other WP addicts have a possible solition.

Anyone else who can help.? Ineed to get the Author function up and running however adding the user Author in the Admin environment does not cover this.
Is it not just that straight forward?
Looking forward to any replies that can give me a push in the right direction.

Did something there with the addition + and now have two new inspector stylesheets that don’t go away.

Maybe I should have asked before.. I hope changes made there do not affect the original stylesheet?
So what’s the exact purpose of this functionality where you can add style on the fly?

Mine does not show it, checked all options but non worked
