In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Shortcodes??i18n is well underway for internationalization.
We actually have some widgets to do just that and we’ll be releasing a plugin pack pretty soon.
Also, since this is a free plugin, anyone is welcome to develop any widgets or plugins to make the interface do whatever they want. If someone does we’d be happy to consider including it an upcoming release.
Thanks for the feedback… Those ideas and more are in development already.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] PermalinksMaintenance Mode should not affect OpenTickets. We use WooDojo on sites in development, and it has never caused a problem. (It causes issues with other items, just not OT)
@lovingboth and @123digi we suspect a new issue with WC 2.2.2. WooCommerce made a lot of substantive changes with 2.2 release, but the 2.2.2 might have some issue.
That is escalated to Priority on our bug list, so we appreciate the reports.
If these are purely isolated Dev sites, and not production, it would help us to more quickly identify the issue if we could have a temporary WP admin login. (You of course should remove that afterward). If you want to do that, it might help identify the issue, since we haven’t run into that on our test or live sites. Please only do this if this is an isolated dev site.
If you want to do that, please make user openticketsdev and set whatever password you want to email [email protected] .

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Open calendar on a set dateChristan,
If you have a workaround post it here so others can have it as well.
We’re having our dev team look into getting solution above in our next release, which is in the next few days. Until that time I’ll see if there is a ‘kludge’ that we can post here for you.
Re: translations. That is great! Right now one of our developers is working on i18n, who happens to be Italian so he’ll be doing the Italian one first. We’ll be making an open call for translations once that is complete. We’d give credit of course…

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Open calendar on a set dateI think the integrated approaches mentioned above we’re releasing soon will solve this for your issue… Will look for a ‘patch’ in the short term for you though.
Are you in a rush to publish or can you wait a few days for an update?

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] PermalinksCan you send an actual URL of the event on your site/dev site?
If you don’t want to post that in a public forum, then you can email to [email protected] if you would.
We use ‘post name’ on several installs.
Also, what version of WP/WC are you using?

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Disable tickets visible on order checkoutThanks! It is so helpful when people have questions and report issues. It helps make the software better for everyone.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Disable tickets visible on order checkoutWe verified that this is an issue with the BACS checkout and our process.
BACS actually puts the order ‘On Hold’ before doing a ticket. Our Enterprise customers want ‘On Hold’ tickets to issue tickets so that they can issue Tickets for people that are coming in later to pay by check/cash/wire etc.
Right now ‘On Hold’ and ‘Completed’ issue a ticket. ‘Completed’ is obvious, but ‘On Hold’ might not be right for all customers to issue a ticket.
We are going to modify the code so that in the BACS scenario, a ticket is ‘On Hold’, so the ticket is ‘Reserved’ and won’t expire, BUT the customer won’t have access to the ticket or get a notification until it is ‘Completed’ by you in the Admin. That will be released soon.
Here’s more information on WooCommerce BACS

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Disable tickets visible on order checkoutThanks, we’ll do some testing. The screenshot helps.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Disable tickets visible on order checkoutDo you have Guest checkout enabled or do you require registration in WooCommerce?
Also, just to be sure, you are using the BACS that comes with WooCommerce or are you using another Extension?
There should be no Ticket until payment occurs. It might be a flow problem. If you can give us more info, we’ll be able to test.
Thanks for checking it out!

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] Open calendar on a set dateHi Christan,
There isn’t a current way to do that (although you could certainly program that).
We’ve got on our roadmap to do two things:
- Make the calendar month default to the next upcoming event. For example, if you have an event tonight, it would show this month. If the next event is in December, than after tonights event, the Calendar would show December since that is the next event
- Make the Calendar settable to a particular M/Y

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] internationalisation???Thanks for the suggestion.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] internationalisation???Right now since WordPress uses SVN and Trac, we’re using SVN however our company does use Github for all our repos.
There are several features, including i18n, we’re putting up as they pass QA. The first couple weeks after a plugin this size though are hardening the current software for the initial installers/early adopters.

In reply to: [OpenTickets Community Edition] internationalisation???Good question.
This is our first release, so we had to stop authoring at some point. Given that this is a free plugin, one of the intentions is to allow those community members to make suggestions or contribute. (Those that have the programming capability are welcome to request to contribute changes)
Internationalization is on the roadmap along with several other features and a couple free extensions. We definitely have plans for i18n coming up.
We don’t have an official public release schedule since we just launched this last week. However changes will come as time allows.
