I am getting the same error, unfortunately removing the code from htaccess did not correct the problem. I still get the wrong image when I try to share to FB.

Any suggestions?

I have tried the solutions recommended by Yoast, but they did not work on my site. I have finally given up on Jetpack Publicize and turned it off along with a couple of other features that either didn’t work or conflicted with plugins that I need.

I hope Jetpack will address this issue soon.

Having the same problem. I am running WP 3.8.1.

Once I successfully change the size of the image, I can the edit it directly, but you have to get past the 1×1 issue.

Hope there is a solution soon, this is a pain.

I would certainly vote for Jairus’s suggestion and help test if needed. This is a really annoying problem, I am about ready to turn off this feature and look for some other solution if it does not get resolved.

I did a test post today to see if I could narrow down the problem.

I have the latest Jetpack and WP versions running with Photon disabled but Share turned on for FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

I created a draft post with one imbedded image and one link to another site, but I disabled the Share to FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn with the Edit on the Publicize option.

I then published the post. You can see it at:

I waited 3 hours to confirm that it did not appear on FB, Twitter or LinkedIn. I went to the above link and selected the FaceBook icon at the bottom. I was presented with the FB link popup with the option for comments, selecting the image for the FB post, etc.

I accepted the defaults and you can see the results on my personal FB page for David Woodcock. The post shows with the correct photo.

So I think that this shows two things:
1. I believe the Automatic Share function in Jetpack has a problem being able to post to FB. The manual share works perfectly and presents the image correctly.
2. That the manual share at the individual Post is setup to share with your personal FB page, not the FB page account defined in the Automatic Share function. Maybe this is by design?

So at this point I can not really share a post with my business page and have it present the image correctly.

Thanks for the heads up about the WordPress SEO. I have disabled that feature and now only have the JetPack Share feature turned on. (I hope anyway).

So I set up my post with both an internal image and a featured image. Selected to publish to my facebook page as part of the Update process.

The post never showed up in Facebook.

I then did a manual share of the WP post. The post showed up in my personal FB as post with just a link, no photos. It should have shown up in my business page and should of had the image with it.

This was working until about a month ago. Anyone have a suggestion to replace Jetpack Post Sharing?

I am having the same problem, only the image it pulls happens to be the Paypal logo from my site, or it doesn’t have any image and just a link to my site.

If I simply use the Facebook share button, then the blog is shared with Facebook with the proper image.

Very frustrating at this point.

I may change the 10px to a higher number as I want more of a radius.

After deactivation and deletion of the plugin, I reloaded it. It appears to be working correctly now.

WordPress 3.5. I was able to delete the directory via FTP and that solved the problem. I have not tried to reinstall the plug in. I found another one that didn’t cause a conflict.

Select Manage Galleries in NextGen. Select a gallery with images and then edit. The top half of the screen it the overall gallery description. The bottom half are all the images associated with that gallery. At the top of the images is “bulk action”. Look at the drop down list and you will see copy to as one of many options.

I have not tried NextGen on mobiles yet. I don’t have any equipment to try it on. How did you fix it?

A little background: I had created a master gallery where I uploaded all my images. I then created three blank galleries. I went back into the master gallery and used the ‘copy to’ option within the image list to copy images from the master to each of the blank galleries, selecting only the images I want in each of these new galleries.

I found that I had to “upload” images to each new gallery. I had been using the “copy to” option within my first gallery and that was causing the problems I was experiencing.

I have 4 galleries now and the appear to be working fine. I have not tried all the options at this point but I am making progress.

What kind of problem are you having with the upload?
