In reply to: Dreamhost's one-click install doesn't have Links and editing optionsThanks! Why was it removed?? My other blogs that I’ve had for a couple years are the latest version, and still have the links manager.
How do I get the editing options back though?
That works great. Thanks!!
I updated, and checked “Post”. It still only appears on the single posts, instead of on every post on the front page of the blog. Does that make sense? I want it to appear in the blog list on every post as well.
OK, I’ll update it and see if that helps. I thought I had the latest version though…
When I did that, it only displayed the signature if you viewed the post singly, instead of in the blog list as well. I wanted it to show up on POSTS only, in all instances of the post.

In reply to: MU sites have no admin panelI went ahead and uninstalled it so I can actually use the main site for now. I’m definitely going to try again though.

In reply to: MU sites have no admin panelI have Dreamhost. I checked, and it said mod_rewrite is on. That .htaccess stuff in your previous post didn’t work either.

In reply to: MU sites have no admin panelThe main site didn’t have any posts…and its pages don’t work now either (500 error). I’m really frustrated. :-/

In reply to: MU sites have no admin panelYes please create your own thread, Betty — it’s really rude to take over mine with a completely different problem.
New plan: moving the my sites to subdomains cuz it screwed with my pages, unless there’s a way to have pretty permalinks and subdirectory sites…

In reply to: MU sites have no admin panelNow it says:
Internal Server Error

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

In reply to: MU sites have no admin panelOhh, ok. No, I wanted folders. I wanted to create a site for my photography on my domain without having to use another wordpress install to get a different theme.
