Thanks for your fast reply. Just to put my request in the right perspective:

I think it’s great that the plugin is really flexible. However I set up a website specifically for recipes. So it would greatly help if that site leverages the core wordpress-features to make recipe-management easy.

Regarding my “categories vs. cusine” question: Based on the way you developed the plugin: Do you think it’s hard to use the wp-categories instead of an additional “cusine-table” to manage the cusine of the meal?

Btw: I translated 90% of your plugin but what was interesting to me is the fact that esp. the cusine/course items that I translated are still in English in the plugin. As those two fields are freetext anyway, why are those items in the pot-file? Similar to this: I also translated all the units in the pot-file. However where are they being used (the fields in the plugin are freetext, right?).

And lastly: As I’m still testing the plugin a lot: In case I want to start from scratch and not lose the recipes that I aleready entered: Can I backup/restore them somehow?

glad that you are working with ThemeGoods to make their theme compatible. I would ask them to mention compatibility with your theme once it’s working. This would probably increase your sales ??

It’s not a problem at all, I’m still curious though: I can create other collections on the same hierarch-level as the “Photos” collection and I don’t see any difference between collection that I created in the “Photos” collection vs. collection created on the same hierarchy. So I assume everything is/should happen within the “Photos” collection/folder anyway.

If that’s the case and everything is happening in that folder, why do you show it at all instead of letting all the magic happen in that folder by default?

That would be the perfect solution. I guess many users don’t need to many options, so for a plugin author it’s important to have a straight forward solution that does the basics “out of the box”.

But having some kind of “advanced-options-section” is always great to also support the needs of additional users. Personally I could even live with some kind of config-file for a start, so you wouldn’t need to build an interface for this.

Btw: I now tested your WP Media Folder extension and it works great! I wanted to write a review for it, but it’s just working without an issue so I don’t know what to say ??

Yes, you’re right! Sorry for the confustion: I’m talking about “Lightroom Collections”.

It would be great if I could assign this information during the publishing process to one of the wordpress fields. So if the Collection is called “Vacation 2015” I would like to assign this information to the “Description”.

It should actually follow the same logic like keywords in your plugin.

I hope this makes it clearer.

I was in contact with AlloyPhoto. He told me that your gallery doesn’t have any interface, so currently there’s no way to build one of his beautiful plugins.

Any idea when an interface might be available?
