Thanks for the reply Sybre. Yes, I have been doing a reading and see there probably is some redundancy in proving some links that go back to 2011.

The authors of the Newspaper theme are well aware of the problem, but refuse (or do not know how) to fix their theme. They call DCL an “untested plugin”… yet it works with hundreds of other themes.

The universal code “workaround” is just that, it’s not a fix… it’s really disappointing as I do like the theme.

After playing around with the object-cache.php file and moving the plugin definitions further up in wp-config.php I finally got it working.

Perhaps notes should reflect importance of placement… otherwise, great plugin!

Same thing here. I can see it in the HTML, but GA just won’t validate it.

Happening to me as well… however I am using custom buttons through Thesis custom functions (FB, Twitter, G+)… now only the G+ is showing on 5.0.2
