I’m not sure what problems Antoine is experiencing with his installation, but I have one problem to report:

WP 4.7
WP Staging 1.1.2

When the plugin is activated, some of the administrative functions in the dashboard do not work. For example, trying to click the “select all” checkbox on the plugin list or updates page no longer works. The checkbox engages, but the list of checkboxes does not.

Another example of this problem is when editing in a slider tool. Slide images are loaded in a drag-n-drop editor. There’s a hover button to edit or delete the slides, but they no longer work when WP Staging is activated.

As far as my experience with WP 4.7 and WP Staging 1.1.2 goes, this is the only problem I’ve encountered. If Antoine has anything specific to add, I’m sure it would be helpful for the authors to address in the next update.

I figured out (by trial and error) that you can add parts of the path or extension to the Exceptions field, not just file types. I put “download_file” in the exception field and that worked.

I can confirm that the plugin does not work with WP 4.3. I can’t tell why, though. The plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year, so it’s probably incompatible with the recently updated core code.

I can’t find any solution to this elsewhere, either. If anyone knows of a method, please let us know!

The content at the bottom of the homepage (“1” – “2” – “3”) is in an animated sequence, but it runs even before the visitor scroll into view.

Yes, MainWP has an extension that relies on Stream to populate the client reports. They advised that users NOT upgrade to Stream v2 because of the cloud-based data, but now that Stream v3 is back on the local database, MainWP has recommended the update. But, there is obviously a bug to work out. In the meantime, I’ve reverted all installations of Stream back to 1.4.9.

Please keep us advised of any updates.

Same problems – “class wasn’t loaded because it doesn’t implement the get_label method.” shows up as soon as I activate Stream. And it crashed a few of my sites when they upgraded to WP 4.3.

The cause is definitely the Stream plugin. When I logged into my server through FTP and delete the Stream plugin folder, the crashed site reappears. I could log into the WP admin and reinstall the Stream plugin, but then the error message appears.

Stream still looks like it’s working, but the message indicates that it’s not using the newest hook.

I’ve got 2 different MailPoet signup forms on the same website and want to track each as a separate goal in GA. Would I use the specific wysija key in the regular expression to configure each goal?

For example, the first confirmation page is:

I’ve been able to confirm that the problem is somewhere in the plugin, and not with my theme or other plugins. I reverted Event Manager back to v5.4.4 and the Google Maps load with no problem.

I hope the developer fixes whatever the problem is in future updates. I won’t be upgrading anytime soon!

How or why is this issue resolved? I have problems with “Loading Map…” on my theme, too. Has this been fixed or now?

It’s still not working in my installation, and I’m running PHP 5.4.13 and no Jetpack plugin. Did the plugin developer mention what the conflicting code was, or just a wild guess? Any more info would be appreciated.

I can confirm the compatibility issue, too. Slower page loads with W3TC turned on than without. I disabled and uninstalled (yes, deleted the extra files and removed .htaccess lines, too) and went from average 15 seconds to 10 sec’s. I still have work to do on the theme’s JS’s but W3TC is definitely getting in the way.

Maybe you could describe what problems you’re experiencing so others can identify them, or see if it’s something on your own WP install?
