In reply to: [MooWoodle - WordPress & Moodle LMS Integration Bridge] User/PassHi Guezs
Awaiting Dualcube’s response to place add_filter.
By the way, when clients purchase a course, Woocommerce generates a new password for moodle log-in, and emails the client

Thanks and Regards

I resolved the issue – for some reason, Woocommerce wasn’t marking the order as complete.
You may mark this issue as closed.

In reply to: [MooWoodle - WordPress & Moodle LMS Integration Bridge] User/PassDear Priyasha
Re-opening this post – its observed that the password in the user’s profile (Moodle) is the same as in wordpress. However, user cannot login with that password – he has to use the new password which moowoodle autogenerates. Can’t this be addressed?
Thanks and Regards
MithilHi JP
Got it working – it’s just that Moowoodle generates ANOTHER password for the user to log in Moodle. (But in the user’s profile, the password is the same as in WordPress).
So, marking this topic as resolved.
Thanks and Regards
MithilHi JP
Glad to know that your issue got resolved.Unfortunately, I’m still struggling with user not able to login. The user IS enrolled in the course, and has a password too, but cannot login. Whic setting am I missing – Enrollment method is manual, Authentication too is manual accounts, etc. Also followed the moowoodle installation exactly, adding all 6 functions to the web service.
Any idea??
Thanks and Regards
MithilProblem “somewhat” resolved – I observed that the order status was in state of PROCESSING (although documentation says “for VIRTUAL products, Woocommerce shall change status to COMPLETE”. So, try changing the order status (login as admin) to complete, and see if it resolves the problem.
Here too, I faced issues – the user got added to moodle, but not in the course. So I uninstalled Moowoodle, and reinstalled. Yet no luck. Then I came across this plugin –https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-autocomplete-order/
Installed it, and it worked!! Orders were instantly marked complete, and the user got enrolled in the course, too!!
BUT … user cannot login to Moodle ??
The user IS enrolled, and his profile has the password, but he cannot login. I had to login moodle (As admin), and, without changing anything, updated the users profile (because the password IS present in moodle). . . only then can the user log in.Am struggling with it right now.
Let me know how you progress.
Thanks and Regards

In reply to: Moowoodle – users not created in MoodleDear Priyasha / Shan
Have been working on it – issue is that the order is perpetually in “PROCESSING” State. Also, if admin changes the order to “COMPLETE”, the user gets created on Moodle, but is not auto-enrolled.
Any insights on this?
Thanks and Regards

In reply to: [MooWoodle - WordPress & Moodle LMS Integration Bridge] Bad SynchronizationDear Priyasha / Shan
Users who register on Shopping cart and purchase are not seen in Moodle course or moodle site. Turned on debugging in WordPress, but no issues – users are created in WordPress, but not in Moodle.
In moodle, I have opted Authentication as Manual Accounts. Do I need to turn on External database or Web services authentication??
Thanks and Regards

In reply to: [MooWoodle - WordPress & Moodle LMS Integration Bridge] Error in SyncHello Shan
Issue resolved – had earlier enabled Email-based self-registration with admin confirmation. Disabled it, and reverted to default Manual Accounts.
But … other issues persist . . . Posted in “Bad Synchronization”
Thanks

In reply to: [MooWoodle - WordPress & Moodle LMS Integration Bridge] Error in SyncHello Shan
I, too, am facing this problem – Error ! Synchronization cannot be done.
And I followed the tutorial https://dualcube.com/installation-guide-for-moowoodle/. Also, I did select the admin user, and also, did select all the core functions. What could be missing??
(NB: Also, your tutorial is not in sync with the procedure outlined in Moodle on Site administration / ? Plugins / ? Web services / ? Overview. I tried that too . . .).Neither can I get to add the course manually (not available in the ADD PRODUCTS page).
Requesting an early resolution, else, I’d have to adopt another plugin.
Thanks and Regards
Mithil
