I think that there are indeed a lot of thumbnails to compress and that suddenly, the cache is refreshed on publication and therefore before the end of the total compression.

That’s why I would like to be able to set up a compression routine (new option or cron command line) in return. ??

I deactivated the lazyloading of smush to use the one of Wp-rocket (Do you recommend this ?)

On the homepage for example, only the image of the last article posted, remains black for at least 5 min. The rest of the images have no problem.

I think that the compression at upload is so long that the cache has already refreshed before the image compressed is available.

That’s why I want to disable the upload compression (also, it will save time for the editors), but then I don’t have a solution to automatically compress the image in routine mode. :/

There is 3,000 pages out of 18,000 are like that.
The problem has been there for a long time and is not due to the last update.

I had version 2.0.38 on another site (no space problem), I updated to version 2.0.39 and the bug occurred.

The problem comes from the latest version. ??

Server 2 allways fail with this message “Server responded an HTTP error 500”

If the “free” servers are no longer important to you, then you should perhaps no longer offer a free version because the bad ratings are starting to arrive on the page of this very good plugin (before).

It’s really unfortunate the turn of events. But such good service could not last I think.

You also don’t have an unlimited subscription. I will have to turn to another plugin. ??

First, I want to tell you that your plugin is excellent and that I have been using it for at least 2 years. For 3 weeks, the server is sometimes displayed in “down”. I’m having a lot of trouble compressing images. Before everything worked perfectly.

I haven’t changed anything on my sites in 2 years. I really think there is a problem on the server side that is no longer keeping up with the load.
