The above call is outside the loop anyway. Are you basically just recommending putting the above action into another file and calling it that way? I tried it and unfortunately it does the same thing which is hide the thumbnails since they are still associated with the category in which I am excluding

wp-sticky is cool and I may have a use for it but it is not quite what I am looking for.

Let me try to explain a bit better.

Say I want my index/home page to be the bulk of my site and contain most if not all of my info on a single page. Basically a single page site. Rather then me creating hard coded content I want to stick content that I can easily edit through wordpress in various “sections” on this main page. Understand ?

Thanks for the reply, get a post didn’t work for me, it said it has to be IN the loop, so I put it in the loop and gave it an ID number and it replaced every post I had with contents of that post’s ID but the titles were that of their originating posts, if that makes sense.
