Yes I second that. Put your efforts into a quality product, not irritating marketing.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] How to pass product name through StripeExcuse stupid question – would this code go into theme functions.php? If so tried – not working.

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Sorry, you are not allowed to attach files to this post. That’s crazy – having to allow participants in a forum to edit/delete others posts. Could lead to a big mess even it people just make mistakes.

In reply to: [BuddyDrive] Restricted files accessAh OK I see now that anybody cant simply download the file. It would be great if that share function could be removed from non-group mods by configuration.
Great plugin!

In reply to: [BuddyDrive] Upload files – Only for adminI tried this – Made no difference. What am I doing wrong? I put the bp-custom.php file into my plugins folder. It does not seem to change anything – user with subscriber role still able to add files and folders.
This would be really helpful to me.

In reply to: [Postie] how to customize post confirmation emailIt would be really great if we could replace the programmed response text with our own in a simple text field as part of the setup. That way any response text in any language could be set up.
Foe me mails are posted as drafts and the message says “…published” which will alarm contributors as they expect it to be moderated before being published.
Otherwise a very well though out and easy to use plugin. Thank you!
hmm still happening with V1.2.4. Has it been updated yet?
It would be great at some point down the line to have the album thumbnails link to gallery pages. This would allow more flexibility in presenting galleries using an album as a navigational starting point to gallery pages instead of a list of pages.
hmm deconf.com seems to be down. Cant get to any links to the site… ?

In reply to: [Participants Database] URL to uploaded file incorrectHi,
Thanks for the reply. My site url is set as per wordpress codex for an installation in a sub-folder ands sung the root url. The site works perfectly in every other respect with the url pointing to the root i.e.. https://jma.za.net
I have checked the setting for the uploads folder and it is as per the default. Files uploaded go to the correct folder.
The direct urls the site allocates for the image media library files include the wordpress folder as they should. i.e. direct url to image file in library would be https://jma.za.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads….
The .htaccess file in the root and in the wordpress folder are as per wordpress codex.
Regards

In reply to: [Participants Database] URL to uploaded file incorrectdid a temporary workaround with .htaccess redirect but there must be a more elegant solution. Added
Redirect /wp-content/uploads/participants-database/ https://domain/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/participants-database/
I use categories to filter posts/pages that get sent out. Create a category for content you want to send out. Everything not in that category does not go out.

In reply to: [Masonry Widget] Remove Author post date from Masonry pluginThis is helpful although messy because it is at risk of being wiped out when updates happen. However… there seems to be no other way right now. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to modify that code block so the post excerpt shows instead of the author and post date?

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery 2.0.0] last thumbnail in row bumped to new lineHmm – I have a similar problem but with the standard gallery.php. I tried modifying as above which solved the one thumbnail bumping to the next line. HOWEVER… if I use gallery_caption.php unmodified the spacing is there but there is no problem with the thumbnail bumping to the next line. It seems this does not quite get to the bottom of the problem.
