I’m just setting the featured image via the option in WordPress.

If you follow the link below, you’ll see the stretched images in the blog feed:

https://217.199.187.192/conti-bike.co.uk/category/tyres/hypersport/

If you then click on the read more link to any of the subsequent pages, you will see the image in it’s original size.

From what I understand on the Changing_The_Site_URL the four methods are for when the site is not accessible, in order to get it running again.

Got it!

The comment on the 1st line confused me:

<?php if ( is_search() ) { // Only display Excerpts for Search ?>

But i’ve swapped out the_content for the_excerpt and it’s fine now.

Didn’t want to use the ‘more’ tag because I am using custom excerpts.

Was able to get it working as a#per your instructions.

I decided I wanted some additional control over index/archive pages so I decided to use a plugin which allows me to pull in posts (by category, tag if I want to be specific) into a page so I can add fixed text/images for each archive page.

Never mind I found it under .small-navigation-menu

Managed to change the on hover/active colour!

Just looking to change the text colour now!

I made the assumption that I had to reference something, as is the case with ‘background-‘ for example.
