I love this plugin!
I need to read what the selectable values for a specific drop down field so that I may create a drop down menu on the front end for the user.

Example, I have a list of industries that the user selects when creating their posts. I’d like to create a drop down menu on a specific page that is the same as the drop down in the simple fields – I am doing this in PHP and it’s for the site visitor to be able to select by a specific industry. This page needs to build this drop down dynamically incase the client decides to add/change the industries available in simple fields.

I’m having trouble getting the date format to work properly. I;m using the shortcode on my page as follows:

[events_list mode=’monthly’ limit=10 pagination=1 date_format=’n j Y’]<div class=”dateTime”>#_EVENTDATES
#_EVENTTIMES </div> <div class=”eventInfo”>#_EVENTLINK
<i>#_EVENTEXCERPT</i></div> <hr/>[/events_list]

but the date still show as 13/09/12 format…

Any ideas?

Finally got it straightened out – I have to login into our Network Solutions hosting account and make edits to site and home directly within the WP database using phpMySQL – after that I reset the permalinks and everything seemed to work.

Ah! SO he undoes the redirect then I follow the instructions for Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory and I’m good?

the redirect in the htaccess file? Yes. Or do you mean the DNS stuff (which I know almost nothing about)?

I also edited the htaccess file when I updated the permalinks but no good.

Great plugin – I was wondering if there is a way to get just the content of the feed without any formatting at all… I am creating a newsticker on our site and I want to pull in the last two FB updates and put it in my scrolling list of items (which include feeds from other sources).

Ideally, I’d like to dump each FB status into a string so I can limit the characters displayed and wrap that string in my own css tags.

Done! Not sure what that even does…
