    Hi Gal,
I had a deeper look at your code. Unfortunately it does not help. My problem is, that the chackbox itself does not work anymore. As soon as I am using a checkbox CF7 does not work anymore. It is not after changing the checkbox. It is always.

    Hi Gal Baras,
thank you for that idea. I can try that jQuery, that looks intersting. But what I do not understand, that is, that there is a problem after a major update and nobody reacts. The plugin worked perfectly on 5.9 and on 6.0 it does not.
    Thanks

    Hi,
I have exactely the same problem. I use stripe and direct bank transfer. If I deactivate the plugin I can buy the product, if I activate it, there are no more options for the payment. Is that different in the PRO version?

    Hi ,support team.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to provide a link to the bug, as the issue needed to be resolved urgently. I managed to fix it by downgrading to CF7 version 5.9. Here you can see the form, but the bug is not visible in the moment: https://dr-tauber.de/kontakt/

However, I’ll describe the bug in detail:

    1. I was using a required checkbox field.
    2. I tried multiple ways to embed it, as there was a linked description included, which made the setup a bit tricky. Even the simplest setup (e.g., adding a checkbox shortcode followed by a <p> tag containing text and a link) failed.
    3. In all cases, clicking the checkbox immediately triggered the red validation warning.
    4. After downgrading to CF7 5.9, the issue was resolved.

I hope this description helps. While I can’t upgrade the live site to reproduce the bug, I’m happy to assist in any other way. If needed, I can create a staging site, though I’d prefer alternative solutions if possible.

Please let me know how you’d like to proceed.

    Thanks very much,
    Raphael

I could fix it by erasing wordpress on the target site and installing a fresh copy. No more help needed. Thanks!

    Hi,
it is stranger than strange. Today the error is back. I really have no idea what to so. I will now do as Dani F. a11n suggested.

    Thanks

Hi, I could find the bug. It is more than strange. ?? The website used Mailpoet PRO (or at least had it installed and activated) but had no licence. That is why the site owner did not know his login to the account. Very strange.

I am happy that the problem is resolved. But please tell me one thing: How can he have the PRO-Plugin installed without having a licence? Does that mean, that he had a licence once, but it is now outdated?

    Thanks

OK, I uploaded the plugin via FTP and there was no change. The problem remains. Sorry. It seems to be a problem of the database, not of the plugin itself.

Thanks for the answer. I installed it directly from the repository. Does it make a difference, if I install it via FTP? If so, I caqn try that.

Hi, thanks for the answer, but it does not help. ??

The support of the hosting says, that I cannot change those informations as you suggested. The support suggested to reinstall the plugin. But that does not change the problem either.

As the plugin completely destroys the frontend while it is activated, I cannot use it at all.

The problem also remains, if all other plugins are deactivated and the theme twentytwentyfour is used.

Sorry,. As far as I can see, I cannot use MP anymore. ??

    Hi, everybody!
Thanks to your help I could detect the mistake. Here is the solution: The plugin Duplicator PRO, that I used for the migration left some code in the wp-config.php that caused the error. (It defined a wrong URL for the plugin folder) @amboutwe gave me the idea to check this file. Thanks!

About the bug: That is strange because I use that Plugin always for migration. But in that special case, I had to move the installation from a server that behaved more than strangely. Therefore I wanted to bring the site to my hosting to work there…

OK. But now it works. Thanks!

Thanks for the question. I did not think of that.

Yes, I can upload themes and images.

The site health is “ggod”. They only say that the not needed themes should be removed and that I should add persistant cache. But I the cache information on other sites too, and they have no plugin problem.

777 is nothing I would recommend. But nevertheless, it does not change anything.

The problem started when the website was installed on a hosting that was very limited and with horrible bad support. Basically the support only said that WP is a third party product and that they are not responsible for it.

Therefore I imported it into my own hosting. But even there the problem remains. I do not have this problem with other sites and I have aproximately 20 instalations running on that hosting.

I really have no glue what might cause that bug. I am glad for any ideas… Did anybody ever experiance something simillar?

    Thanks

Thanks for the answer. It says, that plugins cannot be installed and it cannot create the folder. But the plugins folder is on 755. So it should be writable.
