I have the exact same issue happening – my api credentials are right copy/pasted 3x just to be sure.
The core/logs module is not giving any info from the crash.

Thats all the data it gives

I suspect it has something to do with the facebook security settings. If your FB page is viewable to the general public (without being liked) then the plugin is ok. If the page requires likes to view, maybe not.

Ok I can get it to work with another group – just entering the number-string, not the /groups/xxxx etc
But it just wont work with the group I need.
Is there something in facebook that must be set by the group admin?

I’m having this issue as well, a blank white square when I put the widget into the sidebar.
I have got this groups/178590175650767 in the Facebook Page Name of the widget options.
Do I need to have the AppID if I’m only using the widget?
I’ve used this plugin before with FB pages but not groups. Does it work with groups?

Also it completely screws the WeaverII themed sites to the point that they are unreadable ??

I have the same issue ( Weaver II Theme) the Vote text is white and so is the button background.
I’ve added the fix above but it seems to make no difference.

Ok here’s a workaround.
Use this site https://www.htmlbasix.com/banner.shtml to generate the code you need and put it into a plain text widget.

It doesn’t do fancy transitions etc but it does work.

The website that has the working plugin is https://www.sportsimages.co.nz
The website that has the non-working plugin is https://www.surfcaster.co.nz

Both are using the PHP code execution widget with <?php wp_cycle(); ?> as the code.

I have the same problem.
I have two websites with the same theme and plugin settings.
On one website the WP_cycle plugin works fine and on the other it doesnt cycle – just shows the first image.
The only difference is the two websites are on different hosts.
Could it be something server related?

The only difference being that the non-conflicting Mandigo theme is version 1.33.1
And the troublesome Mandigo theme is later – version 1.36.2

Yes it works fine with default theme.
This would indicate its a conflict between the mandigo theme and next-gen gallery.
But the strange thing is, one of my other sites https://www.aerohub.co.nz uses the same Mandigo theme and Next-Gen gallery works fine in that…
