I managed to fix this by disabling styles – the fields were there, they were just hidden. Might be a bug worth looking into.

Phew! I was having the same problem on a client site. Thanks for the link, worked a treat. Google don’t like to make things easy, do they?

An update to this – this only seems to be a problem if you’re using the back and next links in the feeds. I’ve now turned these off in the individual feeds and it’s not happening.

Thanks for your reply. After I raised the ticket I put a fix in place on my site to delete that metadata when the page loads, which is why you can’t see it anymore.

It would be great to have this fixed in a future release as I’m sure it will affect other people.

Thanks for testing it, but I’m a bit confused – I haven’t enabled the subscribe button so not sure how you managed to do that? (It’s still not working for me although I did receive notifications relating to you)

Hi Devin, thanks for the quick reply! I’ve just added a new user to the site and the email notification worked fine. And no, I’m not using my admin account to test – a dummy user account.
