In reply to: 404 displays on login and homepageHello,
It seems somehow your index.php file was removed from the root. You can download the WordPress zip file and extract that and re-upload the index.php file to your public_html (root) folder.
And you will want to look at the skills required to create and manage a multisite network before diving in. There are step-by-step instructions for setting up multisite in the WP codex.Thanks.

In reply to: Sudden increase in links out of page but the links dont exist?Hello,
On which page you are talking about can you please share the link. Have you seen any of these things on your website???
Is your WordPress site suddenly advertising links to shady looking sites? Does your site display spammy, shady content that you didn’t publish? Is it redirecting to a totally different website? Or maybe you’ve noticed any of the following:You suddenly can’t log into admin
Google says your site isn’t secure
Your traffic suddenly drops or has unusually high spikes
Your browser gives you warnings when visiting your site- This reply was modified 6 years, 2 months ago by Rachna.

In reply to: Website′s elements stopped workingHi,
This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

In reply to: Problem with low storage space.Ya, I totally agree with you @anevins, it is related to storage space, for that compressed files and DNS can help. So, the most effective way is to reduce the size of the files on your website.
1.Build simpler, more efficient websites. Remove any unnecessary text, images or other files. Keep your pages as small as possible.
2.Optimize your graphics. Use JPEG image format for photos and GIF form for graphics.
3.Refrain from fancy flash presentations, audio or video. This includes any music playing the background.
4.Use CSS and call Javascripts externally instead of embedding in every page. This reduces the HTML file size.
5.Remove unwanted tags, white space and comments
6.Limit your Meta tags to those absolutely necessary
7.Consider caching your website, but set an expiry date in the HTTP headers so your visitors’ browsers will refresh the content after a certain time (this allows their browser to save a copy of your website, and each time the visitor visits your website, the pages are served from the copy on the browser and not your web server)Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Problem with low storage space.Hello michalrama,
Here are three ways to increase PHP’s memory allocation:
1. If you can edit or override the system
php.ini
file, increase the memory limit. For example,memory_limit = 128M
2. If you cannot edit or override the system
php.ini
file, addphp_value memory_limit 128M
to your.htaccess
file.3. If neither of these work, it’s time to ask your hosting provider to temporarily increase PHP’s memory allocation on your account.
(in the above examples, the limit is set to 128MB)

In reply to: My website has goneHi,
It is showing a fatal error which is related to Enivra Gallery.
I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/envira-gallery-lite/#new-post so the plugin developer’s and support community can help you with this.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: self hosted multisite – can’t access network adminTry manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to
/wp-content/themes/
and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).- This reply was modified 6 years, 2 months ago by Rachna.

In reply to: Appearance – Editor not updating. Please help.Hello there,
Have you tried:
– Troubleshooting with your browser: Your browser can help you identify JavaScript issues or conflicts and this article can assist you in doing that diagnosis. This could help identify Visual Editor issues as well.
– deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). And also you can follow, these steps to find out the issue.
