In reply to: [Subscriptions for WooCommerce] Do not buy this product! For the record I requested cancellation on December 18, 2024. My credit card was charged nonetheless, and although I asked for a refund, WP Swings has refused to return my money- $109.

In reply to: [Subscriptions for WooCommerce] Do not buy this product!Furthermore- this has nothing to do with features or functionality. This is all about REFUNDING a user for a cancellation request. I did avail myself of the option to cancel the subscription. Didn’t I? Would you like me to repost our correspondence in public?

In reply to: [Subscriptions for WooCommerce] Do not buy this product! You sent me a reminder at 5:36 am, the day before it renewed. Well, I asked you to stop the renewal. I specifically asked you after you sent me the renewal notice, but BEFORE you charged my credit card. Furthermore, I asked you to cancel the subscription and refund me the money. You also asked my why I cancelled, and I told you that I found another plugin that served our needs better. Again. You did not sell me a physical product that I used, or wore, or drove, and caused it to depreciate from “Mint condition” It was a subscription. You did not incur any cost like shipping, or restocking. The right thing to do is refund me my money for an UNUSED subscription. So why don’t you tell the public how you can rationalize charging somebody for 365 days of a subscription they told you they didn’t need on day ZERO. You are a company that cannot be trusted. BUYER BEWARE!

In reply to: Why doesn’t my WP theme show that 6.0 is available?@krupalpanchal – It’s frustrating – because Wordfence says ”
An update is available for WordPress (v6.0)but when I click on it – all I get is:
Here you can find information about updates, set auto-updates and see what plugins or themes need updating. Current version: 5.9.3 Last checked on June 6, 2022 at 7:18 pm CDT. Check again. Plugins Your plugins are all up to date. Themes Your themes are all up to date.

In reply to: Text string appears above menu on site and on the backendIt just appeared. When I rebuilt this site, there was no extraneous code. I recently added some text (an RIP) to the top text box, but I’m the only one with access to the back end. We use WP Cerber as an extra layer of security to (hopefully) hinder unwanted users from gaining access to the site.
We first noticed the text string on the 27th of September. I checked the access log, and other than the attempts by mischief makers who were denied access, I’m the only user who has successfully accessed the back end.

In reply to: Text string appears above menu on site and on the backendThanks for your response.
It confirms my suspicion. I’m just not much of a mechanic who can work “under the hood”
Now I have to find a good “mechanic”Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] Why am I locked out? Thanks for replying. Could you offer some guidance setting to arrive at the fine balance between being too restrictive and having sufficient “roadblocks” to cause the troublemakers to go elsewhere?

In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] Why am I locked out?Furthermore, my subnet and my IP address, as well as that of one of my contributors is in the IP White List.
Is there any other data you need to help me figure out what’s going on.
