Thank you. I find that page. But, it only link to a page with the document. What it’s suppossed now? Should I access to WPStatistics thru phpmyadmin to find that link???

I didn’t find “View attachment page” link. Is that another plugin?? I can’t see something like that in the WPStatistics menu.

No one know about my question or maybe I express myself the wrong way?

I do not use an special plugin for Download. I ask for WP Statistics to count the number of times a file (a PDF for example) is downloaded.

I’m working directly in my child theme CSS file, so I copy your code in the right @media of my CSS nothing happened. In fact, I changed “background:red;” to “background-color:yellow;” to see if the issue was related with my menu background, but no changes.

However, if I change the “content” to any character or simply left it void (content: “”;) a white line appears, but that’s like the “border” solution. The line is as higher as the menu bar, not only the “line-height”.

I thought that too, but that makes a line from top to bottom of menu bar, and I only want a vertical line not higher than the line heigh.

This is what I was trying to get. However, I have not problems losing my main navigation, as thejordany had, but I’m loosing my header background on header with < 768px. Any idea?

I had no reason to make it as I was doing it, simply, it worked as some WP versions ago. So, I did the instructions that were in the link you provided, and all works as it should.
Unfortunately, I need now to look for my style changes and put only them in my child “styles.css” file, but this will increase the page load speed, so THANK YOU, you gave me the perfect answer and even an alternative, what else can I ask for?

I think that’s a great idea too. As Stilman says, it give us more control about what we want the user to see in shorten posts page.

That is not working for me. If I put in my child theme a style.css file only with

 Theme Name:   Twenty Seventeen Child
 Template:     twentyseventeen

The result is a near-plain page, like if the styles were incomplete. If I CLONE the original style.css to my child theme and modify this cloned CSS file, all is working fine, but I’m making the user read two complete “style.css” files (the original and the cloned and modified one).

Any suggestion?

You gave me the correct answer. It was my fault. I always thought the text truncation were did automatically by WP. I inserted the “more” tag and is working fine.

I have an intro webpage and other “blog” page where I only show posts. The post appears all complete, instead a brief extract (as I choosed in “Read” option on WP. In this theme, posts are always show complete, whatever I select (extract/full post content).

Same issue here. WordPress let us choose if show each full post or an extract (and how much posts). However, TwentySeventeen do ALWAYS show full posts, whichever I select.

Please, any solution?
