In reply to: 404 Error on WordPress RSS FeedJust to tell you that it’s back working again. I don’t know for sure what made it work, since I’ve done so many things (I was desperate).
Anyway, this list of actions I took may help future users with problems:
1 – Disabled all plugins (didn’t seem to work). Then reenabled them.
2 – Reset permalink structure to default (didn’t seem to work). Turned it back to custom.
3 – Cleared all blank lines in ALL theme files (not just the ones before and after <php and ?>
4 – Deleted .htaccess (it was rebuild automatically laterThis is all I can remember, but I may have done something else.
Hope it helps.

In reply to: Duplicate content: 2 diff URLs pointing to same postSorry for the flood, but I’m trying to find out by myself too and I get more doubts.
I found out that my sitemap https://fazendoacontecer.net/sitemap.xml has only reference to the mentioned article. And it’s the one I want (the third one I listed above).
BUT the change frequency is set to Monthly. Does this means that the next month Google will recheck the link in the sitemap and correct its index?
Is there a way I can force it recheck now?

In reply to: Duplicate content: 2 diff URLs pointing to same postOne more question regarding your suggestion of excluding post via AIO SEO plugin. These different URLs for the same post have the same post id or each of them are saved in the DB with different post ids too?
I’m asking because I’d need post id to exclude in AIO. But I don’t want to exclude the 3 of them.

In reply to: Duplicate content: 2 diff URLs pointing to same postZGani, thanks a lot! I’m kinda desperate and though nobody would answer me.
So, as you say, I won’t loose pagerank or search position having this?
URLs are these (actually, there are 3 of the, I changed them to improve SEO – but now I really regret it)
The last one is the active one. I’ve checked the first 2 and they are 302’d to the last one.
Although only the first two are index by Google yet. Check this search:
https://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=site%3Afazendoacontecer.net+inurl%3A41&aq=f&oq=&aqi=&fp=Xmf0jJ9P_V0I have AIO SEO and the canonical meta link is the last URL I wrote.
Should I do something? Is it normal? I mean, I have already changed URLs before (due to typos). SO I believe other people have already done this too. Is this normal?
Thanks a LOT again. I’ve tried to mess with .htaccess, robots.txt… Don’t know what to do.

In reply to: Duplicate content: 2 diff URLs pointing to same postI just found out that the original post url makes a 302 redirection to the new post url.
Since both of them are on the same domain, is it a problem? Should I make a 301 redirect on .htaccess?

In reply to: Publishing a post that doens’t show up in feedWell, I waited until I have posted another 10 posts and published it with a later date. Since my feed only shows the 10 last posts, it didn’t show up in the feed nor the front page.
