Thanks, that’s very interesting. Could you please help me a little bit more? In which file do I find the table style settings – and how can I tell the 5 different table styles there are?
A manual or something on the weaver homepage would be great! I’m already very happy with the theme 2010-Weaver – that would even improve it.Inserting border:none or border: none in the 2010style.css doesn’t help neither.
Only using this in every single <td> helps but that’s not a good “solution”.I have the impression that there must be another place where some table-settings are fixed (not only in this 2010style.css or at another place). BUT WHERE??? Any ideas?

In reply to: table borders not right weaver 2010Does anyone know how you get rid of the borders (and other pre-settings) when using HTML tables in the theme “2010 Weaver”??? I just can’t get them away. I only found some entrys in the stylesheet-file 2010style.css
#content table {
border: 1px solid #e7e7e7;
margin: 0 -1px 24px 0;
text-align: left;
width: 100%;Changing the values to doesn’t help. The borders stay.
#content table {
border: 0px solid #ffffff;
margin: 0 -1px 24px 0;
text-align: left;
width: 100%;Even using the white color doesn’t help. The borders resist! Where do they come from?
In the post I can write:
<table style=”border: solid 2px #ffffff;” align=”left”>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td style=”border: solid 2px #ffffff;” width=”35%” valign=”top”>xx</td>That’s so far the only way that works. But it’s ugly and stupid to have to make every single td invisble.
Can anyone help me? I’m searching since hours for the solution. Didn’t find it so far. Thank you.
I use the newest version of NextGEN 1.6.2 – the rest is the same: WP Database Backup 2.2.2 and WordPress 3.0.1.
(Btw: I also got the bug when trying to activate Akismet which I didn’t use until now.)
Hi Chentudou
Thank you for the hint. Well, I didn’t change anything in the configuration of NextGEN. In fact, I couldn’t use it until I deactivated that backup plugin.
I thought the best solution would be to look for another backup tool. With “Simple WordPress Backup” I wasn’t glad because I have no idea where it saves the database to (not to my hard disc). Reading the information, I decided that “WP Online Backup” would be great. I installed and activated the plugin – and guess what: the bug arrives again!!!
So, obiously NextGEN has a compatibility issue with several backup plugins (maybe only in the new WordPress 3.x). I would like to know which good backup plugin is compatible with NextGEN?Thanks for the hint. I tried several times until I found out whit which plugin NextGEN Gallery isn’t compatible. It’s the Backup Plugin “WordPress Database Backup” which causes – once NextGEN is installed – the error again. So, I disactivated only this plugin and finally: NextGEN works.
Though I still have to learn very much about it. (I’m not receiving very nice results, Thumbnails don’t show up correctly, only 3 out of 22 and such things.)
Now I will look for another backup tool.
I’m using the latest version 3.0.1 with a german interface.
Installed and activated Plugins: WordPress Database Backup, WP Random Header, Local Time Clock.Thanks. When i rename the folder nextgen-gallery, I can log in again. What could cause the bug? A lot of people work with nextGEN gallery, but I didn’t read of such problems.
