Have your tried changing the template to “theme”? Navigate to Settings > Personalization > Template > and try changing the templates.

Also the images on [directorist_all_locations] doesn’t display and fill all the background as on [directorist_all_categories].

Could you please share a link to the page?

Also the “more filters” doesn’t work.

Yes, it appears to be a CSS issue. Please try adding the following CSS in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and let us know if the issue exists.

.wp-block-cover .wp-block-cover__inner-container .directorist-search-contents {
color: initial !important;  
}

The custom fields issue has been fixed in the latest version v7.0.2 which rolled out an hour ago. Please update and let us know if the issue exists.

You can tweak the common settings to use it as a Job Directory. However, the private messaging system is not available in the Core version and requires additional purchase(Live Chat extension) which we are not allowed to talk about here.

However, you can also use the contact form as a communication medium.

In the search box the names of the categories or cities do not appear.

– I assume you having a CSS issue, would you mind sharing the URL of the seach page?

Custom fields still don’t appear.

We are sorry for the trouble that we may have caused. But you have mentioned it worked well for several months and just because we are going through some rough phase since the last 4-5 days, you justified the plugin as a bad one! I am sorry it is very disheartening as the relationship we built with you throughout the last few months got paid with 1 star.

We are well aware of the issues and this was to happen since the plugin includes substantial changes and is more powerful than ever before. We also warned several times before upgrading and requested to have a backup. A rollback is also an option that we have mentioned as well.

You are well within your rights to post reviews but I would request not to come to the conclusion that early without giving enough time to the team. We are working on weekends and currently, it is 11:16 PM at night yet we are working for the next update. Such reviews slow us down and affect our diligence.

Nonetheless, there will be two updates this week that will resolve the majority of the issues and if you are satisfied then I would request you to reconsider your review.

1.) CATEGORY ICONS STYLE: Category Icon is already available in Directory Listings > Categories > Edit > Category Icon. See Screenshot for a better understanding https://prnt.sc/10c9x06 Once you set the icons then it will display the categories like https://prnt.sc/10c9xua (You can make it colorful using CSS)

2.) WOOCOMMERCE INTEGRATION: Directorist is already compatible with WooCommerce and to be able to use any WooCommerce Payment Gateways, you need to use Directorist WooCommerce Pricing Plan (Not free) to make a listing featured or offer plans.

I am sorry I am not sure how would you set a category as the “main”.

The feature you are looking for is unavailable at the moment and you will need custom development to achieve the feature. However, I will log it in as a features request and scope it in with other initiatives if we get more requests.

We are rolling out an update with some fixes within an hour. It could be possible that some of your existing plugins are conflicting with Directorist.

Some of the issues have been fixed and you will receive an update within an hour with the fixes.

1. They are not pre-filled with previous values. Means: you have to enter all of them again, which is a nightmare.

2. Drag-and-drop has many issues. Sections (great idea, to introduce sections, by the way!) suddenly disappear, you cannot move fields outside your current window (which is nasty, if you have a long list of fields).

Will be fixed in the next version.

3. Fields disappear or show a different name if you switch to the Single Page view / Content.

4. there is a /general/ in the single listing URL (multi-directory option switched off). Is there a way to remove it?
