Hello @georgefyro ,
We are sorry for the trouble. Before we roll out updates we make sure there is no conflict with the WordPress core requirements. Besides, PHP 7.3 is recommended by WP and default in most of the hosting.
We tested again and unfortunately, we never ran into any issues. Furthermore, this is the first PHP 7.3 issue report.
I assume the reason is something else. Most probably, the current version of Directorist 6.4.2 is conflicting with another plugin which is resulting in the issue. I would request you to perform a conflict test and also let us know what theme are you using.
You can use “Health Check Plugin”, the Health Check plugin can aid you in the conflict test without impacting any site visitors. Download and install the plugin. Activate it and navigate to Tools > Site Health and do the following
If you see errors on the ‘Status’ or ‘Info’ tabs, please resolve the issues before continuing
Click on the ‘Troubleshooting’ tab, check the warning information, and hit ‘Enter Troubleshooting Mode’.
Troubleshooting mode will automatically deactivate the plugins and activate the default theme (This won’t affect users)
Leave only the “Directorist” activate and check if the issue persists.
Activate plugins one by one to detect which plugin is causing the 500 errorLet us know the test results, we will be happy to assist.

Greetings,
We are sorry for the trouble that we may have caused you. Please make sure you have separate pages for both Search Listing and the Search Result. You can check it on wp-admin ==> pages. Also, you must add the proper shortcode on each page. For example, your current page needs to have the 1. Search Listing shortcode.
1. Search Listing- [directorist_search_listing]
2. Search Result- [directorist_search_result]If you have successfully created the pages, please assigned the correct pages in Directory Settings > Pages, Links, and Views likewise the screenshot https://prnt.sc/s4os81.
Now, navigate to wp-admin > permalinks > and hit “Save Again”. Also, make sure your permalinks structure is NOT set as “plain”.
Hello @abner7g ,
Thank you very much for your patience and we are sorry for the delayed response.
We had to collect the plugin and then conduct tests using multiple demos. It was a challenging task as all the demos were working and we kept on testing until we replicate the issue.
I am thrilled to let you know that we were able to track down the issue and the fix will be available within the next few hours. I will provide you the beta download link here once it is ready.

We are sorry for the trouble that we may have caused.
500 internal server error often transpires due to the PHP Memory Limit. Increasing the limit usually resolves the issue. Please increase the PHP Memory Limit, you can also reach out to your hosting provider and request them to increase.
Let us know if the issue exists.

Hello Daniel,
Thank you for reaching us out.
There is no default way to disable the login page but you can do a couple of things.
1. Remove the login option from the menu- So there is no option to log in.
2. Remove the shortcode [directorist_user_login] from the login page located in wp-admin dashboard > pages. You can write something like “login is unavailable”. So, whenever a user tries to log in using the /login/ slug, he will get the message “Login is unavailable”.
I hope that helps.
