I’m a newbie so maybe this is a stupid question but still here it comes: I have to install gallery2 in content/plugins and I need WPG2 to embed gallery into wordpress?

First you need to install gallery2 and then install /configure wpg2 so that it integrates gallery into your wordpress theme. If you are going to do this, I would recommend that you read the install doc here.

The hardest part for me was to get gallery and wordpress to both use rewrite. Once I figured this out it was pretty easy. Install gallery first and then move onto the wpg2 install/configuration. Good luck!

I would just modify your theme’s php files so that your adsense ads appear where you want them. Here’s a post which describes how to display an adsense ad after the first post.

I’ve upgrade three of my four wordpress sites to wordpress 2.0. So far so good. I’m holding off on my fourth site because I’m having an issue with one of my most favorite plugins. If you haven’t upgrade to wordpress 2.0 yet, you really should!

if you just use /%postname%/ as your permalink, will your run into a problem if you have two posts with the same name? Anybody know?
