I’ve changed the sidebar link to a product category, same problem

I have 4 test items in there.

Found the issue in apache2.conf. AllowOverride must be set to All.

Side Note: the MS Web Platform could be a pivotal piece for my organization as we are looking to deploy multiple sites, each with their own wordpress site. Figuring this would be great, as we prefer WordPress over Joomla, but the MS option installs Joomla with no issues.
