See, that’s the problem. There is a sidebar div for the index.php page. And there is a sidebar.php file. However, the sidebar div isn’t being pulled onto the post pages with the page.php file.

Right, I’m working on the list you provided:

– update WordPress to the latest version,
– update all plugins and other installed themes
– create a Child Theme because editing/ customizing theme files directly can create problems.

I haven’t found any others that I like as much. The theme works great! I just want to add a side bar to the pages.

I know it’s a couple years old, but there are several other sites that use this theme presently, so I know it’s a good theme. I just want to add on to it – a side bar for the pages, not just the posts.
