I so totally agree with you on this one!!!
but to call them idiots is little harsh, I would rather hope they are smart enough to understand us and bounce back with a great solution but they really need to be careful next time as their recent behavior was very unprofessional!

Wise choice brother, I had to do a rollback to BWS from iThemes security for 7 sites which was kind of sad.

I totally agree with you Fergusmcd…lets hope they understand the gravity of the situation and how important is the reputation in any community! ASAP

hide back end does not work anymore…it locked the admin area of 7 websites that I handle..all 404 when I type the slug.. had to rename the new updated plugin file name and edit .htaccess later even database to clear records of the plugin then rolled back to the last glorious version of bwps 3.6.6

all I am saying is before releasing to public don’t you put the plugin into testing phases and debugging processes..

the recent behavior, has put better wp security reputation to such a shame…just because updates where not tested properly!

even I as a newbie to the world of wordpress or client servicing, I test my work 10 times or even more if possible before giving my work to my clients!
