What I did to fix is simplet
Just added #disqus_thread to the single_post selector of theme’s style.css

.single_post, #disqus_thread {
    bla, bla, bla
}

So this will match with the themes style whatever theme you use. No need to figure out the padding or width in px.

I’m sorry to make it seem complex. I write tips and tweaks for various apps in my blog so obviously I’ll include loads of screenshots for illustrations. My screen capture tool uploads the image to FTP/S3 directly and I just need to use the url to display the image in my post. That is the reason I cannot use in-house wordpress solution (and I really hate the thumbnails + images in other dimension which it automatically creates whenever I upload an image via wordpress media uploader).

Bingo! that was it.. I whitelisted my IP in the WordPress Firewall plugin and I can see that the files are uploaded successfully to my S3. Thanks a lot for your help.

@creative-i – Ya you are right, but I couldn’t tweak tinyMCE and din want to spend much time on that. I just wanted to make sure that those spaces wont appear in my posts, after I publish and now they dont. But am definitely looking for solution within TinyMCE itself.

Did someone try this out?

@young heff Can you please let me know how exactly did you resolve the problem. I’ve hosted with Yahoo too… I need to change some of the settings… Tried to edit the database directly, but looks too complex to map the admin page fields with the database data
