Moshu, thank you for pointing this out. Ok, the themes are in fact internationalized and include a German localization-file (is that right now?)

Am i the only one, who has problems with the “more”-tag? Does it work flawlessly for everybody else?

@schestowitz: i think you got me wrong here: this is no plugin for wordpress but an extension for firefox.

Will drop them a not about that problem.

Just to make a last note: This problem only occurs with RC3 (haven’t used a prior version) and not with wordpress.com-hosted blogs.

Now one more question before i start using POT, po and mo: From what i’ve seen in the POT-file, the location of the the to be translated string is defined with row. But if i change / edit / manipulate the theme somehow, this rows are probably wrong afterwards – what will happen then?

The only “missing link” that i have now is how to get / create a POT-file for the theme. How can i do that with poEdit?

Thanx for your help, but it doesn’t do too much for me. I don’t want the info entered while registering, but afterwards, when a user changes and fills in values into his profile…

Did one of you manage to get those extra fields working? I did exactly the same for Jabber and Skype. The fields show up, can be written in but nothing gets saved. On the other hand, if i fill the tables manually their entries shows up after a reload of the page.

So it seems to me, that there is a small problem in writing the entered date into the tables of the database…
