I′m really frustrated. All your (an my) efforts have no success…
– Tried to deactivate all plugins
– Tried on an other site & WP insatllation (same ver & theme)

Nothing!
The coming days I′ll install a new WP (using a parked domain) to try this. I′ve no more ideas…

That′s exact the same file I use. I added the code at the end of functions.php using the theme editor in WP Admin/Backend.
Is it possible, that
– there are differences between the german<>english version of the theme?
– the new function is overwritten by something after the call of “functions.php”?

And one more time – sorry, it does not work. Tried with post & page without effect.

Maybe I include your code to the wrong php file?

I′m using WP 5.7.2. (german version with template twentyseventeen)
And also the test just with (example) the part “my-post-or-page-url” didn′t help. Thx for your efforts!

No, I don′t use multi-lang pages/posts that have to be switched over or the same pages in two different languages. Just need it as described in TO.

I inserted your code at the end of the theme functions.php

Sorry for the delay – it work′s fine.

According to the thread title:
If menu is fixed to the top – on “real” smartphones also parts of the header images (e.g. picture or slider on frontpage, featured images in posts) “slip” behind the menu.
Any idea to fix the upper boarder of the hole page down to the lower edge of the menu on mobile devices/viewports?
(At the moment we fixed the problem by adding some space – occasionally with some unimportant text – at the upper part of the .jpgs
But that′s looking different in certain mobile browsers – and on computer screens rather bad)

everything great with this solution ??
(One more hint: In the customizer of WP – switched to mobile screen view – everythings was looking great before also. But on a “real” mobile device (e.g. Samsung S8 – with Chrome or Samsung Internet-Browser or FF the problem appeared)

One more question:
On mobile devices (only) we want to have a small (maybe 3-4px) marging/space left & top of the logo. We placed the logo (copy) on the left side of the top menu. How to solve this?
(Or should I open a new thread?)

The plugin is working with bitly on another way not using API connection – but still with the possibility to generate short URLs while using the share-buttons?

“no feedback” yet because I′m 99% – but not 100% sure abaout the reason.
Turned off any optimization & evertything was fine. Untill I reactivated Async JavaScript.
Then I switched to “defer” and “JSquery = OFF”.
Everything works fine – BUT:
I had′nt the chance to test it on IOS devices. On all my WIN & ANDROID everything is pretty till now.
