Richie, when I change color in wp-admin->customizer->color->background color, all area in the blog was changed, and not only that extra area in both sides… the same happens when I choose a background image for the site.

What I need is change the color of only extra area, not in the content area (in center of site).

Your sugestion works, but the result was not good, and I leave the nav with original configuration.

Richie, I’m using the built in feat cat, but this custom code doesn’t work! I put it in the Custom CSS tab and change the values, but the feat cat in right menu don’t change…

Sorprenent, if I do this, the Facebook comments will go off too…

I tried, in these last days, solve the problem, but haven’t success… I think the plugin is to add one more comment option (FB), keeping the defalut comment field… but with 2 comments fields, some visitors was confuse…

Thanks, Richie! It works! But the image don’t fill de space in same cases, when it’s smaller then main column… how can I make the picture fill the space, even, by strecht ou crop tools? It is possible?
