In reply to: [Kadence] “Narrow Layout Content Max Width” Slider IssueHi, Karla…
I appreciate your reply. I can see how my choice of words was not ideal for describing the issue.
I am not referring to a “Slider” as in a slide-show or similar app.
What I was trying to describe is the navigational device, also called a “slider,” used in the Customizer to adjust the width of the content. (You rest the mouse cursor over the slider, hold down the left mouse button, and drag it, the slider, left or right to adjust the width.)
More clear?
Thanks!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Kadence] “Narrow Layout Content Max Width” Slider IssueI created a work-around, but would still like an answer to my question.
The original page I had posted about now has the fix, the cloned page with the issue I’d still like to see resolved is now located at ralphcare.com/fast-fixes-d/Thanks!

In reply to: [Kadence] Adjusting Spacing between ParagrphsHi, Tamie…
Loving the Kadence, but the paragraph spacing was making me nuts, too!
Googling found this “Additional CSS” tweak, (in the Customizer) and it works like a charm! (Cut and pasted from another thread in the WP Forum, for another theme.)
———————————You can adjust the space between the paragraphs just by applying this small CSS code. Head to WP admin -> Appearance -> Customize. Here just look at the menu on the left side and find the Additional CSS section, access it, and paste this code inside and save changes.
.single-content p {
margin: 0 0 20px !important;
}You can adjust the value of 20px to any other value you want to assing to the bottom margin of your paragraphs.

In reply to: [Kadence] Logo & Site Title – Responsiveness IssueHi, Hannah…
I appreciate your timely response!
Yes, I’m aware that one can upload another logo for tablets and mobile screens.
Unfortunately, doing so does not change the issue of the Site Title totally disappearing at tablet screen sizes, then reappearing at smaller screen sizes, but with the Site Title spaced far apart.Is that just the way it is with Kadence, or is there some CSS I can add to remedy this?
(Did you view the video I linked to? Uploading a separate logo for smaller screens made no difference to this issue.)Thank you!

That did the trick beautifully!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Easy Appointments] Error: “Please select another day”I was having this issue myself when testing this plugin today.
I found that when testing with my LAPTOP, I could use the same exact contact info in the form, and I could make several appointment requests that the form would process and send the appropriate email confirmations.
To repeat: I made many different appointments for different days, making the requests all within a few minutes of each other, and it went fine using my laptop.However…
When testing with my SMARTPHONE (Galaxy S7), it would not take ANY request after the first one, regardless of clearing the cache & cookies on the phone, and regardless of using Firefox or Chrome, and using totally different contact info.What I discovered was that by going to the General section of the Customize Tab in the plugin’s settings, and increasing the max number of appointments, the issue was (sort of) resolved.
I could then make more test appointments with the smartphone.
(Still curious as to why the laptop had no issues at all, and the phone did, even when using different contact info on the form.)
Hope this may be of some help!
For anyone else who is bothered by this nag, this is what I did to resolve it:
Using either FTP, C-Panel, or the Theme Editor on your Dashboard,
Open the functions.php document.
Scroll towards the bottom of the page,
Cut out all the code from
“// display custom admin notice”
on down.
Click on “Update The File” button.The nag is now gone.
