In reply to: [Easy Appointments] Error: “Please select another day”I was having this issue myself when testing this plugin today.
I found that when testing with my LAPTOP, I could use the same exact contact info in the form, and I could make several appointment requests that the form would process and send the appropriate email confirmations.
To repeat: I made many different appointments for different days, making the requests all within a few minutes of each other, and it went fine using my laptop. However…
When testing with my SMARTPHONE (Galaxy S7), it would not take ANY request after the first one, regardless of clearing the cache & cookies on the phone, and regardless of using Firefox or Chrome, and using totally different contact info. What I discovered was that by going to the General section of the Customize Tab in the plugin’s settings, and increasing the max number of appointments, the issue was (sort of) resolved.
I could then make more test appointments with the smartphone.
(Still curious as to why the laptop had no issues at all, and the phone did, even when using different contact info on the form.)
Hope this may be of some help!
For anyone else who is bothered by this nag, this is what I did to resolve it:
Using either FTP, C-Panel, or the Theme Editor on your Dashboard,
Open the functions.php document.
Scroll towards the bottom of the page,
Cut out all the code from
“// display custom admin notice”
on down.
Click on “Update The File” button. The nag is now gone.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Smartphone browsers break FormI also discovered that either adding table-modifying CSS or using a plug-in to make the tables responsive was a good work-around.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Smartphone browsers break FormI discovered that changing the theme made a difference!
I am able to modify the table width and have the changes take place in themes other than my preferred one.

In reply to: Angle Brackets around hyperlink issueHey, guys…
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
James, I use Thunderbird, and I’ve never seen angle brackets enclose a hyperlink before in any of my emails.
The point being that those who may need to copy the link and paste it into their browser, for whatever reason, would have to strip out the brackets to make the link work. Odd thing, too, is that the second link in the email had NO angle brackets enclosing it.
I wasn’t sure that this forum was the correct place to bring this issue to the attention of the developers of WP.
Do either of you know if there is a better place/better way to share this info with them? Thanks!
I did post a 5 Star rating for you about a year ago. This theme so fits my needs and is flexible enough to accommodate a lot of customization.
Great job, once again!
(Though I am able to make the Free version fit my needs and don’t need the Pro, I would like to send some money your way in appreciation. Do you have a way for me to do this… a donate button somewhere…?)Thanks!
Thank you!
I made your suggested adjustment and it works fine- much appreciated!!Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [Pure & Simple] Blog page width too wide for meIs there any way to tweak one of the blog templates so that it has (2) columns (right and left, like the option for Pages)?
That would decrease the width of the center column to a reasonable degree for me.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Pure & Simple] How to turn on Breadcrumbs?Thank you for that info!
I actually finally found out info myself (accidentally) by looking at another of your free theme’s descriptions. (Luminescence LITE)
It had this line in the description:”For theme support, please refer to the README.txt file in your theme.”
I downloaded the zip for Pure & Simple LITE, unzipped it, found the Readme file and it listed all the plugins you used to make the theme work.
To make things easier for others, would you please consider putting this info in the Pure & Simple description page as well?
Once again, a knockout of a theme and thanks you for sharing it!
