… Right, if you know what you changed from “footer.php”, just edit it back in. If you don’t, look’s like you’ve gotta remove the theme and re-install it ??

It seems like you went into your Editor and messed up with the footer, hey? Well you need to keep the footer information down there since it is licensed to.

Delete the theme, and re-install it. Tell me what happens after you’ve done that?

No! Don’t just edit and insert your new URL choice.
Read this https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL and it will tell you exactly how to do it.

If you just edit it in the “General Settings” tab, you will lose the entire site!
