Generally I got your problem but not about blocks ??
Short code just take URL attribute but your problem is mysterious ?? you mean when you set custom value for URL attribute, again reports contain the page URL right?
As I remember I tested this part and worked properly but your report made to check again. I’ll check and will tell you about the result ??

as you mentioned as of WP 3.6 update and some library updates my plugin failed working unfortunately ?? but few recent days fully I was working on it to patch bugs and match it with new WP release
