Hmm, I did as you said but it only resulted in the site title being displayed twice on one row, e.g.
Boreal Pictures Boreal Pictures
I also am not seeing anything different in the two code boxes where you say “So find” and “and change it to”; the code looks the same. I did add the line as directed
<?php bloginfo( ‘description’ ); ?>
This is frustrating because I think this is the first theme of dozens I have encountered that does not display the site description, only displays the site title.
