Try using a <p></p> tag around them.

I know that, I am saying the sidebar would normally be to the left or the right of the post…….so the bottom “sidebar” is really where the footer would be.

Nik had that custom made. Just pick a theme close to it and tweek it until you like it

your sidebar is all that is at the bottom, you have a three column layout. that whole sidebar deal to the left is part of your post not a sidebar.

okay, that explains it a little better. Edit your footer.php page, delete what you do not want to be there. and copy the code that is left into your sidebar.php where you want it placed

all you got to do is edit the index.php layout. It is nothing more then a standard css. layout. You can take off the sidebar and fit it for your need. It is kind of hard for me to explain but Yes it can be done. I have done it before. You just have to fit the postinfo part into your layout. but you have to upload your index.php page into a wordpress theme folder in order for it to work

the only thing i see in your footer is an rss and another link, no menu.

yea, edit your index.php file and change that part of the date to a different header size like h4 (make sure it is not in your css already) then add it

has nothing to do with your index php file

it is the css to your size 5 header. it has a 1px dashed border. if you want no line at all take that part off

    	border-bottom: 1px solid #666666;
	font-size: 1.05em;
	font-weight: normal;

. or if you want a solid line replace it with this

h5 {
    	border-bottom: 1px solid #666666;
	font-size: 1.05em;
	font-weight: normal;
	}
