Solution: There were only 500 rows. I ran the PHPAdmin Table Optimize and it shrunk the data usage to the appropriate small anmount.

Yes, I had the bogus one. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Can’t understand why someone would make something to take the place of a very usable tool. Will feedback on that.

Unfortunately, your tool only found 20 expired transients, so I still have a space problem to diagnose. No Reason for my options table to be almost 1 GB. Any hints on deducing which plugin is behaving badly, and how to correct?
