I have contacted my hosting provider and they checked the ownership of the folder and file and confirmed it’s fine.

They said that when I click Scan Now, the file is recreated and has new date but no content.

They didn’t see anything on their side that can cause this 0-size file.

    Any thoughts?

Sorry, didn’t refresh so didn’t see your answer.

Thanks for prompt reply. I’ve change the setting as suggested and now the mini-cart is showing. Still a few mishaps, I’m not sure if it is related to your plugin.

    I’ll keep debugging.

    Cheers!

    Adding:

    in file:

    apbct-public-bundle.min.js?ver=6.16:1

the following lines are faulted according to Chrome Inspection

    .bind(this),
    this.xhr.send(this.body)

next follows the following error messages:

/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()
Uncaught (in promise) Error: A listener indicated an asynchronous response by returning true, but the message channel closed before a response was received

Thanks for your reply. Permissions are OK: 755 for directories and 644 for files.

    Ownership also OK.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for your answer. The directory and file do exist, but the file size is 0. After running Scan Now the date/time is changing to present time, but the size remains 0. I guess that is why it is being assumed that this is the first scan. I wonder why the plugin stopped writing to that file.

    Any Thoughts?

I haven’t deactivated/reactivated the plugin recently, as far as I can recall.

This fixed the timeout problem, but now I get this strange message:

The plugin has detected that this is your <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>first</span> file change detection scan. The file details from this scan will be used to detect file changes for future scans.

This is definitely not my first scan. Strangely enough this message pops up every time I try to “scan now”…

Also, no list of changed files is showing after pressing “View last file change” (it was shown just a few days ago) although I see on DirectAdmin’s file manager there are files that were changed.

Also, no emails reporting the changed files, although it is set to be sent.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers!

Thank you for the detailed reply.
Unlike the regular text block, there isn’t any option to align the excerpt in the recent posts block unless I change the code in the renderer. It’s strange as there are options for aligning the title and the image, but not the excerpt.
Also, there is a direction=”rtl” problem. Sometimes the theme definition prevails and it’s ok, but sometime not.

Also, since I wrote my note, I’ve noticed that there is a problem with the alignment of elements in more than one column. For RTL email in the block I have to reverse the alignment settings, meaning set right when I want the element to align left and vice verse. Ay there’s the rub… When trying to view the email on a browser (via the link at the head of the email), the elements appeared as set, left for left right for right, which is all wrong in that case…
It would be nice if you also tackle this one.

I’ll follow your instructions as for adding my vote and comments to the request of RTL support and made a request for new features.
    Cheers!

And also it would be great if we could set the fonts, as they are also hard-coded for now.
And as it is an email we can’t customized it with CSS.

    Hello,
The new version was already rolled out as a plugin update in the WP admin, so I’ve upgraded it through there and set it back to use cookies.
So far haven’t got an error 400 and the number of cookies for the site as indicated by Chrome is normal.
So seems the problem is fixed.
    Thanks!
    Cheers!

Hi, Sorry for not getting back to you. I set the alternative mechanism to cookies, as suggested by you, which eliminated the 400 error.
I’ll try your fixes shortly and update you soon.
    Cheers!

Also I want to add that it seems that 6 months ago when I’ve posted my last OK post, I haven’t yet installed WP 5.6 which was just released then. I’ve read that there was update to functions that may have something to do with this issues like sanitize_title… but maybe it got nothing to do with it…

    I totally understand your point.
Knowing your plugin the best, I’ve thought you can suggest a certain approach to tackle this issue, as the theme developer didn’t quite help me.
I’ve ended up configuring the footer with the footer widgets and not with the theme’s feature of a page footer.
Maybe this is the only “solution” to this issue. I just couldn’t invest anymore time researching this.
For anyone who would like to dig into it, it seems the dynamic_sidebar works with a page and do_shortcode does not.
    Cheers!

When I use the WP Widgets’ default footer everything is fine, but I really prefer to work with the theme page footer feature.
I really appreciate if you could help me with that.
It seems that the footer logic above is not calling some of your code.
    Cheers!

    (@raqy)

    Yes it is.
As I’ve written I’ve used the theme wc4wp element (widget) in kingcomposer.
I’ve also tried your widget and it produced the same result.
I’ve added now to the test page your widget too, under Newsletter.
    the code in KC is:
    [kc_wp_widget data="eyJtYzR3cF9mb3JtX3dpZGdldCI6eyJ0aXRsZSI6Ik5ld3NsZXR0ZXIifX0=" _id="897803"]
It’s working in page content. Not in footer.
    Any idea?
