In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Regression after update re: "Copy of…"Thanks for your reply. I don’t know how the “Copy of” disappeared from my copy of MailPoet, but I was glad it did.
I respectfully submit that the extraneous text is unnecessary, as you have to physically click on “Duplicate” to duplicate a newsletter. It assumes the user won’t remember clicking something a half-second ago, not to mention being unable to recognize text already sent out to subscribers.
It’s not a huge deal; just a waste of dragging/highlighting and clicking “delete.” Thanks for offering a great plugin.

In reply to: How to add picture in Portfolio Press header.Mattchee, I can’t get this to work.
Did you do this exactly:
#branding { position:relative; display:block; background:#900; padding:30px 0 30px; background:#900 url(images/IMAGE_NAME.png);
(Of course, replacing image path)
I wonder why it won’t work for me…can you give a link to your site so I can Firebug it? Thanks.

In reply to: URL to profile of a member who is NOT an authorWell now…how about that. Why didn’t my 2385728937528 searches on this topic bring that up? A: Because I apparently suck at searching.
Now to see if it’ll actually do what I want. Thanks!

In reply to: Logging into dashboard brings up old themeA-Ha! Forgot about checking for plug-in problems. It was one of my plug-ins causing the issue.
Thanks!

In reply to: Bizarre issue with password briefly appearing, then disappearingWell, I solved the problem (at least temporarily) by installing the “Auto Login” Greasemonkey script. It still doesn’t explain why WP is the *only* site that doesn’t work with my settings, but that’s OK. At least I know Firefox is saving my password.
Still bizarre, but the script is definitely a workaround if you’re ready to pull out your hair.

In reply to: Bizarre issue with password briefly appearing, then disappearingUseful URL is finkweb.org. Didn’t know that was required information, sorry.
I disabled all plugins, cleared history, cookies and cache, and cleared out my cookies-sqlite file. Closed browser and restarted. Same result. I run the following plugins:
Akismet
Broken Link Checker
Image Caption
SSG WordPress Google Audio Player
Theme Test Drive
Video Embedder
WordPress Database Backup
Wordpress Thread CommentI’ve never had problems with any of these until using WP on Vista with FF 3.5x (I’ve only had this new machine for 5 days).

In reply to: Translation ErrorsI’d also like to make a small change in the wording of this plugin to make it a bit more “English friendly,” but I can’t find the exact spot to edit it. Could someone give me a push in the right direction, please?
Here is a screen shot of what I’d like to do. Any help is much appreciated.
