In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] count votes@septimo you can check the rating itself and it will show you the number of votes and their distribution. If you’d like to get more stats in an aggregated view, our Professional and Business plans support it.

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] Search deature still coming soon!!Hi @divithemeexamples – we are not going to support search any time soon due to the (very) low demand for that capability. We actually track the number of clicks on the search box in our back office, currently, less than 5% of the users ever clicked it.

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] GDPR effects on rating widget@divithemeexamples RatingWidget is already using anonymized IPs, we are no longer storing IP addresses! There are still some cookie-related things we are working on and will be releasing in the next couple of days.

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] DisappointingHi @ypanesa,
Thanks for your feedback. The plugin is absolutely free. There are no tricks, we use the freemium model which means that if you’d like to get the extra paid features you will need to upgrade.
The weekly ratings report is not fake, it’s based on your site’s ratings. If you think that the report doesn’t reflect the ratings you’ve received on your site, please send us an email with the report to [support AT rating-widget DOT com] and we’ll investigate it asap (may be a bug).

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] GDPR effects on rating widgetGreat question, @divithemeexamples. We are working on GDPR compliance and will be transitioning from IP-based identification to one-way hash function generated IDs (based on the IP), which aren’t considered as personal data by the GDPR. This approach will allow us to provide seamless UX as before.
@jdembowski thanks for the note though I never asked to share the credentials in this forum. If you read my message, I suggested contacting our closed support email. Our support team understands the risks involved in accessing a site, in some cases, this is the most effective way to troubleshoot some issues.
If I understand correctly, you’re talking about the trial admin notice? If so, did you try clicking the “Dismiss” link of the message to hide it?

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] Professional license and is disabledAs mentioned, your plan is already PROFESSIONAL (look on the bottom of your screenshot), so there’s nothing else to be changed. That’s the message that shows when there’s no change in the plan.

In reply to: [Rating-Widget: Star Review System] Notice: Undefined index: SERVER_ADDR@tarrats I got confused by something else, this line of code is actually in our plugin for years. If you didn’t see this error before it might happen due to two reasons:
1. Your PHP notices were turned off.
2. Your hosting company changed the web server configurations. ‘SERVER_ADDR’ is a global server parameter that should contain the IP of the machine. Nginx and Apache have it active by default.Anyways, we’ll fix it for the next version. Thanks for letting us know!
