In reply to: Striking Responsive themeI go into my cpanel and into the file manager (with Bluehost). How do I transfer a folder into my wp-content folder?
I see the Themeforest zip file in my directory, I’ve tried unpacking it.
I’ve also tried to upload the Zip file in my wordpress “add a theme” section under appearance … It loads to 100% but the I get a failure notice.
Anyone? Need a bit of help with this.

If you’re using a theme, you’ll want to avoid editing the theme’s files.
Modifications can still be made, but made through a Child Theme. Basically you copy the file you want and paste it into your Child Theme directory and then you can modify it.
I downloaded the child theme Zip from the Blaskan creator but don’t know how to activate it.H
I can’t find any instructions for it after you install it, perhaps it magically works automatically. Are your tab titles now hidden?
Nope.. the titles are still there.

In reply to: [Blaskan] Removing the "Tab" box text from the pageCan anyone help me out with this stuff?
How do I access the HTML of my site? Where do I go to make changes? Is that with my “host – Bluehost” or do I do that through my wordpress dashboard?
If someone can help out that would be great. I know its a simple change that I want to do but I can’t even find where to start.
Thanks.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Add Link button not working in toolbar – HelpThanks Esmi,
I am almost at that stage where I do want to “farm” it out but I also value the process of digging my teeth in and learning something new. If I ever have to fix something at least I will know the basics.
So I need to dig into my Bluehost page then.
Thanks for the links as well. More digging and investigating I guess.
Are you familiar with the Blaskan theme by any chance? My website is https://www.the365effect.com

In reply to: Add Link button not working in toolbar – HelpOk.. So I have re-installed Word Press 3.5.1 and that didn’t fix it.
I have deactivated all my plug ins and tried to make the link button work from inside a new post and that didn’t work.
I tried a different theme (twenty-twelve) and that didn’t work.
Can anyone offer another any other suggestions? It is a bit frustrating.
Thanks.
AlanHi Ron,
Thanks,
I checked the global setting and those are confirmed with what you suggested. I then started digging into the individual posts and no where can I find the “Allow Comments” box? I don’t see this anywhere in my options to “Check”. I go into my dashboard…I click posts…. I click on the post I want to edit with Edit Post… and then nowhere do I see this “Allow Comments” box to be checked/unchecked?
Am I looking in the correct place?
